Deleting a Restriction

Deleting a Restriction

Deleting a restriction will permanently remove it from the Web Portal. However, the settings that were applied by the restriction will not be undone.

To delete a restriction:
  1. Click on the restrictions link from side menu to view the page where all restrictions are listed
  2. From the list of available restrictions, choose the one you want to remove
  3. Confirm the deletion by clicking on the "Delete" button associated with the selected restriction
The Global Restriction cannot be deleted. It can only be edited by the user

Once the restriction is deleted, the action cannot be reverted, so make sure it is done intentionally without any errors.
The deletion action is logged in the user audit records. If restrictions are deleted either accidentally or intentionally, administrators can review these logs to identify who performed the action.
