The Push Apps module lets you install, control, and secure apps seamlessly. This article will guide you to install Android apps on your devices remotely. Before you begin the process, make sure the APK is signed using both v1 and v2 signing process as recommended by Android (Google).

1. Upload the Android App (APK or ZIP) file in your Web hosting location. We do not allow hosting Apps on our Web Portal for security reasons
2. Click on the Push App link on the left side bar of the Web Portal
   
3. Click on "Add" to upload new App or click "Edit" to update the existing app.
   
4. Paste the App link in the text box.
   
5. The Web Portal will scan through the APK and pre populate all the details automatically
   
6. Ensure that the APK signatures are same if you are updating the App
   
7. After the details are populated, choose if you wish to push the Apps to all Devices or selected groups.
   
8. Click "Save" after confirming all the details
   

1. By default FieldX the App entry is always added in "Disabled" state. You have to manually enable in order to push the app to selected group of devices
   
2. Search for the App entry that you have added above
   
3. Click the button "Enable" on the right top corner of the App listing. 
   
4. A "green" dot will appear on the App entry in the listing indicating that the app is now enabled and FieldX will start the process of pushing apps to all or selected groups accordingly.

Use Amazon S3 or Web hosting services like GoDaddy. We do not support One Drive, Google drive or Dropbox hosting services.
